Try the Lockhart Cowboy Company between Lockhart and Luling, TX. Do an internet search under that name and you will find phone #s, maps, info, etc. Has boarding, roping arena, occasional clinics, etc. Great place, rope there alot.

I am here in Ft.Benning Ga and I cant find ropings anywhere. I just bought a big registered gelding that has cutting training but I am training him to be a good roping horse and after two weeks he's ready to go compete. Just wondering what part of Arizona you are looking for a roping camp in. If you are interested I can get some numbers from a few of the practice pens I hit and see if any of the guys can help you out. As far as roping camps I am unaware of any located near or around Tucson. If you are interested in some practice pens we have many to offer around Tucson and near by surrounding areas. I live in an area that doesn't allow me to do as much roping in the winter months (cold and snow)
So I am loking at heading down south for a couple of months after the new year starts. But there
isn't alot of information for this kind of trip where I am from. From what I understand there is lots
of arenas in Arizona where a guy is able to plug into a hydro pole and have a pen for some Horses
and rope every day for a weekly or monthly charge. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions as numbers to call
or places to look into?
