I've got a 12 yr old Heading horse that is really good. Only one thing that bugs the crap out of me. Whe she gets a little excited, her head comes up. If I ride her out on the trails, the head is down, she is great, and even in the roping pen, if she is not excited, her head is down and she is fine. But when she gets excited her head goes up. I have a Perfect Bit with a lifesaver in her mouth. If I put a little pressure on her, she will flex like a champ, but then her head comes right back up. Any ideas on how I can teach her to keep that head down all the time? Thanks. buckskinroper
